Ryan Androsiglio, PhD
Psychotherapist and teacher - The mindfulness workshop
Ryan is a New York City based Licensed Psychologist, providing individual psychotherapy and Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT).
Ryan earned his Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from Fordham University, and has over 10 years of professional experience helping clients reach their goals.

Mindfulness and MBCT
Ryan has completed formal training in Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), and has been granted the title of “Qualified MBCT Teacher’’ by the University of California San Diego Medical School’s Mindfulness-Based Professional Training Institute.
His training included a 5-Day Residential Intensive Training with co-creator of MBCT Dr. Zindel Segal and Susan Woods, an original trainer in MBCT.
Training also included teaching 6 MBCT groups. In several of these Ryan received mentorship from Donald Fleck.
Mindfulness Practice
Ryan has a daily practice and incorporates mindfulness into many daily activities, especially walking and drinking tea.
Silent Retreats attended
Ryan has attended many silent retreats, most recently a self-guided retreat at Garrison Institute north of New York City. He also attended Jon Kabat-Zinn's "Coming to Our Senses" 5-day residential retreat at the Omega Institute.
Special Interests
Ryan: “Psychotherapy is my passion, and my approach when working with clients is a blending of solution-focused Cognitive Therapy and Mindfulness. For those who are interested, I also teach meditation, and can weave meditation practice into the therapy process. Other areas of focus include LGBTQ-Affimative psychotherapy, antiracism activism, and gaming-related addiction/dependency.”
