Daylong Retreats
Immerse in Mindfulness for Deeper Relaxation and Awareness
Our daylong retreats in NYC and line are an opportunity to let go of everyday concerns and fully immerse yourself in the present. Try one of our 1-day gatherings—perfect for those seeking a quiet day away or those looking to reconnect with their practice between meditation classes.
Learn mindfulness meditation, insight meditation, mindfulness philosophy, and participate in discussion led by Donald and Michelle. A typical day includes breath meditation, body awareness, guided meditations, practice understanding thoughts and emotions, learning to be less controlled by emotions, stretches, mindful walking, and other meditation techniques. There will be a lunch break, and we will describe how to practice mindfulness while you are eating.
These retreats are designed to help participants not only relax but carry mindfulness into daily life. Whether you're managing anxiety or simply looking to connect more deeply, these practices are widely applicable and supportive.
Through meditation and other practices, we may reflect on the many ways that we and the world are connected. By being in touch with our own suffering, peace, and happiness, we may discover new ways to help ourselves and others
